Melany showed an eagerness to engage in the club activities – from writing Christmas cards to individuals at a local elderly home, to participating in kindness challenges outside the classroom – while maintaining a genuinely kind disposition.
Melany was sincere in her efforts to help her mentees in various club activities throughout the year. Though soft-spoken at times, she led by example in her acts of kindness both in and out of the classroom. She participated often and the younger students felt comfortable asking her for help. When there were more mentees than mentors, Melany gladly took on the task of partnering with multiple younger students for club activities. She was focused on completing the tasks given to her regardless of their size or difficulty, and truly comprehended the importance of them. She showed an impressive level of enthusiasm in the club meetings and was an outstanding ambassador to the B kind Club and what it stands for.
