B kind is all about encouraging acts of kindness in our everyday lives. By providing a forum for sharing individual experiences via social media and word-of-mouth, our goal is to inspire people everywhere to change the lives of those around them by simply making an effort to be kind. We believe that even the smallest acts of kindness are worth recognizing, worth celebrating, and worth building a community around. Because being kind can change someone's life. It can also change the world.

National Random Acts of Kindness Day was Friday, February 17. The B kind Foundation challenged our school clubs to first make it a week long event and to challenge their communities to do an act of kindness each day of the week.  Here is some of what they came up with ....

At Norwalk Grassroots Tennis and Education in Norwalk, CT. they made cards and crafts for the elderly.  Great job Jahsai Banks!

At St. Luke's School in New Canaan, CT the club members use "Play It Forward" to challenge the student body to different acts of kindness.  Great game to raise awareness that small acts of kindness can make someone's day.  Now it's your turn .... Try to pay (play) it forward everyday!

The B kind Club at Sewickley Academy in Pittsburgh, PA. came up with a few different kind notes/messages that they put on the lockers of all the students in the high school and on the doors of teachers, school custodians and the cafeteria.

Always remember ...

Being kind can change someone's life.  It can also change the world!
